Ghanaian Pastor Infects Boy, 14, with HIV, Says his libido gets high when he drinks alcohol

A Tema-based man of God, Pastor Marvin Brown alias Prince Mark, has been arrested by the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU) of the Tema Regional Police Command for having carnal knowledge of a 14-year-old member of his church, resulting in the boy acquiring HIV.
Pastor Brown, the Spiritual Head of the New Jerusalem Religion at Tema Community 4, allegedly sodomised the boy on five occasions and warned him not to disclose the act to anyone or he would die.
The Tema Regional Police PRO, ASP Olivia Turkson confirmed the arrest of the suspect to Daily Guide yesterday.
She said the pastor was arrested after the parents of the Class 4 pupil of a Tema basic school reported the incident to the police.
Sources close to the family told the paper that they suspected the pastor might have infected the boy with HIV after the boy tested positive for the deadly disease.
The pastor, during interrogation by the police, admitted sodomizing the boy but denied that he had sex with the teenager five times.
He said it occurred only once under the influence of alcohol after an outing with the victim who was living with him in his house.

“They have done nothing wrong” – Tunde Bakare condemns suspension of Kumuyi’s son

“They have done nothing wrong” – Tunde Bakare condemns suspension of Kumuyi’s son

Pastor Tunde Bakare, who is the General Overseer of Latter Rain Assembly has spoken against the suspension handed out to John and Love Kumuyi, over the wedding attire the bride wore.
“I personally did not see what they have done wrong. A man is entitled to his own authority in his own home.1st Peter Chapter 3. A wife should dress to please the husband and not the members of the church or public. It’s sheer wickedness to the couple, they should leave them to enjoy their honeymoon,” he said in a recent interview.
“They should not squeeze them to the modus operandi of a particular organization. I did not see anything wrong in the wedding. The bride was not naked or dressed inappropriately and the groom didn’t. Esther the queen was beautifully dressed in the bible to gain the king’s attention. They should not make mountain out of a molehill.

“I was in the Deeper Life Bible Church for five years and nobody compelled me to dress the way I dressed. My wife was with me in the church though we weren’t married then. She wears earrings and dresses nicely. All this talk about this couple should stop.”

Pastor goes ballistic on church members who were sleeping during sermon

Baptist preachers have a reputation for being blunt and direct — but a pastor in Oklahoma has taken it to a whole new level.
Dr. Jim Standridge, 76, of Immanuel Baptist Church in Skiatook declared, “I’m important, I’m somebody!” after he noticed one of his members was napping during his morning sermon.
He proceeded to another member who obviously would be getting wedded in the church, “what makes you think I’d marry you? You’re one of the sorriest church members I have. You’re not worth 15 cents. And you want me to marry you to her?”
Check out the video; let’s know what you think!

Randy Bishop Rapes, Impregnates, and Aborts Pregnancy For 15 Year Old Girl

A Port Harcourt-based cleric, Bishop Chibuike Nwabueze was on Tuesday paraded before the media by the Rivers State police command for allegedly raping a 15-year old girl.
Although he claimed to have both been hypnotised as well as set up by a colleague bishop, the cleric confessed to having a “carnal knowledge” of the teenager in question.
He said his ordeal was orchestrated by another bishop in whose office the immoral act took place, adding that plot to ensnare and embarrass him followed on the desire of his brother bishop to displace him as the chairman of all bishops in the state, a post he (the accused bishop) currently occupied.
The accused also denied reports that he assisted in aborting the pregnancy that resulted from the illicit act with the teenager, alleging that it was the girl’s father who did the abortion, while he, the bishop, paid for the cost.
“We have different colleges of bishops. I am the chairman of Communion of Bishops in Rivers

Veteran actress Eucharia Anunobi is currently in Dakar, Senegal for a 5 days prophetic Summit tagged, Pursue, Overtake and Recover All – a programme organised by the Beautiful Gate Family Church.
Prior to her departure, an interesting drama had played out between the actress and her fans – this happened after she announced her intended ministerial assignment in Dakar on her facebook page.
As soon as she made the post, her fans, rather her frenemies started commenting on Eucharia’s dress sense; this angered the woman of God, and she reacted accordingly (but thank God the spirit of Elijah was not in her).

Some of the comments;

“I can see d evidence of Pursue in ur attire, may God help you with spiritual understanding to help you correct yourself Eucharia”

“The earth is a preparatory ground for eternity! Wat wil it profit u if u pursue, overtake and recover earthly tins and looses ur soul? Pursue God's kingdom 1st and al other tins na jara!”

“Study ur bible wel, it's there in 1Peter, Genesis 35 and Exodus 33. Take ur time, pay the price and God wil reveal his secrets to u. Many youths r lookin up to u, lead by example biko! God wil help u.”

At this junction the Evangelist couldn’t take it any longer, so she fired back;

“Am grateful to God for He is not a man. If He was like anyone one of us, what would any of us, including u people condemning whom He has not condemned do?”

“Am wondering who amongst u people has the keys to heaven and hell? And maybe, the Lamb's book of life has been given to both Dim Priscy Chioma, Felix Mckins and Augustine Ayodeji Origbo? beware, if u think u're standing.”

Why I rarely make public comments - Adeboye

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has explained that he is careful in making public comments to avoid mistakes.
In an interview with Haaretz newspaper during a visit to Jerusalem, Adeboye said he had shied away from speaking out on national issues in order to avoid influencing people in the wrong way.
He also said he was aware of the enormous responsibility on his shoulders as the leader of a global church with millions of members.
'At times it's frightening. In Africa you have a saying, the man who is carrying a basket of eggs must walk gently … whatever mistakes you make, you affect destinies,' he said.
Adeboye stated that his transformation from a Mathematics lecturer at the University of Lagos to a pastor was a divine call, noting that he has a mandate to preach peace everywhere he goes.

Did Pope Francis Perform An Exorcism?

The case is about a 43-year-old husband and father who travelled to Rome from Mexico to attend Francis' Mass on Sunday in St. Peter's Square. At the end of the Mass, Francis blessed several wheelchair-bound faithful as he always does, including a man possessed by the devil, according to the priest who brought him, the Rev. Juan Rivas.
Pope Francis laid his hands on the man's head and recited a prayer. The man heaved deeply a half-dozen times, shook, and then slumped in his wheelchair.
The images, broadcast worldwide, prompted the television station of the Italian bishops' conference to declare that according to several exorcists, there was "no doubt" that Francis either performed an exorcism or a simpler prayer to free the man from the devil.
The Vatican, in a statement Tuesday, said Francis "didn't intend to perform any exorcism. But as he often does for the sick or suffering, he simply intended to pray for someone who was suffering who was presented to him."
