Giuseppina
Baafi, a 22-year-old accounting student, has been crowned Miss Ghana 2013 at a
colourful finale at the Banquette Hall, State House Saturday night.
The
Eastern regional representative beat 19 other hopefuls to win the coveted crown
after a hotly contested finale, which had several renowned personalities in
attendance.
Some
of the personalities who were in attendance included Miss World 2012, Wenxia
Yu; former First Lady of Ghana, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings; and Deputy
Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Elizabeth Ofosu-Agyare.
