A-Listers: Is Juliet Ibrahim The Most Beautiful Woman In West Africa?
On the cover of its maiden
edition, A-Listers Magazine named Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim ‘The Most
Beautiful Woman in West Africa’.
No doubt, the 27-year-old
actress is well endowed, but how did A-Listers come up with such assertion? I mean,
we are talking of the Most Beautiful Woman here, not even the Most Beautiful
Actress.
Ok, let’s say we are looking
at the Most Beautiful Actress; what happens to the likes of Stephanie Okereke,
Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Ekeinde, Nadia Buari, and Joselyn Dumas amongst
others.
Anyway, what do you think?

Gov Chime Tells Why He Placed His Wife Under House Arrest
Enugu State Governor, Mr.
Sullivan Chime, has defended the confinement of his wife, Clara, in the

Chime, reacting to a
petition by his wife to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) in which
she sought its intervention to free her from “unlawful custody”, told reporters
in Enugu Tuesday night that the confinement was based on the advice of her
personal doctor, Dr. Aham Agomuo, due to her peculiar health challenges in the
last four years.
Chime spoke during an
interaction with journalists in the Government House in the presence of his
wife; Agomuo, a neuro-psychiatric expert; the governor's brother in-law, Tony

See the World's Most Expensive Car – a Golden Lamborghini [PHOTOS & VIDEO]
The world's most expensive
car made with gold and precious gems will come with a staggering price tag of
4.6 million pounds when it goes for auction next year.
The smaller prototype of the
Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, designed by German engineer Robert Gulpen, is
on display in Dubai and costs 200,000 pounds.
However, a fully-working
version of the car will go under the hammer in 2014 with an estimated price of
a whopping 4.6 million pounds, the 'Independent' reported.
The prototype car is made of
carbon fibre and covered in a thin layer of pure gold. The rest of the bodywork
contains 25 kilogrammes of precious metal and is carved out of a 500-kilogramme
block of 22-carat gold.
The full-sized car will have
a V12 engine producing 700 bhp, the report said.
The car will enter the
Guinness Book of World Records under three categories, including the most
expensive model car, the most secure showcase that features bulletproof windows
and the most luxurious logo.At last, Daddy Showkey returns to studio for another album
Popular singer, John Asiemo,
aka Daddy Showkey, has decided to return to the music scene after what looks
like a long hiatus. The self-styled ghetto soldier is not only back in the
studio, he is currently working on a new album that he hopes will turn out a
surprise hit with music fans soon.
In an interview with our
correspondent on Tuesday, Showkey said he had decided to keep the title of the
work-in-progress and the location of the studio secret for now.
“The studio is just a small
one. It is somewhere in Surulere, Lagos. I’d rather not talk about the
location. As for the title of the album I’m working on, I want to keep it close
to my chest for now,” he said.
For Showkey’s numerous fans
across the country, who have missed his thrilling performances for a long time,
this seems like heartwarming news.
I believe the Golden Eaglets are the world champions – Sweden Coach
After his boys lost 3-0 to the
Golden Eaglets in the semifinal of the FIFA U-17 World Cup on Tuesday, Sweden
Coach, Roland Larsson, stated that the Golden Eaglets were the tournament’s
favourite.
Speaking after the match, he
said, “Yes, I think they are the
favourites to win the trophy. They have been so unbelievable here. Playing some
good attacking football. They are my favourites to win the final and hope they
achieve all the success they can get because they deserve it”.
“I
believe the Nigerians are the world champions already and expect them to
justify it having defeated Mexico once in the group stage.
It
is going to be an exciting final to watch and I am backing the Nigerians to win
because of their strong team play and individual talents, which make it very
difficult for others to find their range”, added Larsson.
Ruggedman is not an A-List artist…he has lost audience appeal – Ejiro Okhipwo
Ruggedman recently called on
all entertainers to stay away from Abuja-based promoter and founder of Most
Beautiful Girl Pageant in Abuja, Ejiro Okhipwo, because he is a
‘fraudster/trickster’ and not to be trusted. Well, Ejiro is not going to keep
silence over such weighty allegations, so here is his side of the story (very
lengthy though).
First of all, I'm
embarrassed that this man, Ruggedman, could bring himself so low by exposing
his own shame publicly in the media. I'm embarrassed because no artiste could
have done what this guy did to us even when we felt we were doing him a big
favour.
Look, I have organized
several editions of this event, and different artistes have graced our event,
but we have never been swindled before.
Don Jazzy and Wande Coal Engage in Twitter Tirade Over a Song
In politics, they say ‘there are no permanent friends or enemies, just permanent interests,’ this saying also holds sway in Nigeria music industry. As I am writing this, there is currently an acrimonious dispute brewing between Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy and former label mate, Wande Coal. The bone of contention is a song recently released by Wande Coal titled ‘Baby face’ – Jazzy claimed the song was a studio demo he made about a year ago, therefore he was surprised that Wande Coal did not give him the credit.
But that’s not all; the real
news is the twitter face-off between the pair.
Don Jazzy, very unlike him
took to the social networking platform and tweeted at WC, “How long will i continue 2 sweat and some people will choose to steal
from me. I am nice and easy going doesnt mean u should disrespect me”. He
added, “@WandeCoal PLS do the right thing
bro asap. God bless.”

Enjoy!Indians will be 'thrown out on the streets' if Nigerians are targeted – Nigerian Diplomat
A Nigerian consular official
warned on Monday that thousands of Indians in his country will be "thrown
out on the streets" if police doesn't stop evicting Nigerians from their
rented homes in Goa.
Speaking to IANS after
meeting members of the Nigerian community in Goa, bureaucrats and police
officials over the last two days, consular attache Jacob Nwadadia said the Goa
government had until 9 pm on Monday to stop the illegal eviction process.
"There are only 50,000
Nigerians living in India but there are over one million Indians living in
Nigeria. Thousands of Indians living there will be thrown out on the streets if
forcible eviction of Nigerians in Goa does not stop," Jacob said.
The official said Nigeria
was five hours behind Indian Standard Time and that there would be time for the
Nigerian government to order action against Indians living there.
The Goa government has
ordered a crackdown on all foreigners living in this tourism hub after a bitter
clash between a mob of over 200 Nigerians on one side and police and locals on
the other.
