Ray J Mocks Kanye West's Paparazzi Altercation [VIDEO]

It appears Ray J is not through with Kanye and his GF, Kim – this time he briefly reenacts Kanye West's brawl with a photographer while outside of a Hollywood nightclub.

In the video, Ray J is approached while exiting Tru Hollywood nightclub and proceeds to rant about higher education and other stuff.

Later in the video, Ray J is seen playfully wresting with the photographer in a manner reminiscent of Kanye’s July 19 brawl at LAX.

Visa bond: We will retaliate, FG insists

The Federal Government on Tuesday insisted on retaliatory action against British citizens if their government went ahead with its plan to impose a £3, 000 visa bond on visitors from Nigeria and five other Commonwealth countries.

It expressed displeasure that Downing Street, which had already set November as the discriminatory policy’s commencement time, had not deemed it neccessary to formally communicate to it on the next step of action.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Olugbenga Ashiru, had at a meeting with the British High Commissioner, Andrew Pocock, conveyed the desire of Nigeria to retaliate the policy.

The spokesperson for the ministry, Ogbole Ode, said in a statement in Abuja, that the British authorities were already aware of the Federal Government’s position on the matter.

Nurse sets 11-yr-old maid ablaze over piece of meat [PHOTO]

Policemen at Bode Thomas division of Lagos State command, Tuesday, arrested a woman who allegedly set her 11-year-old house maid ablaze in Surulere area of Lagos, for stealing a piece of meat from her pot of soup.

The maid identified as Ita Bassey-Eno who reportedly escaped death by the whiskers, is currently at the Burns and Trauma Centre of the Gbadaga General Hospital, with doctors battling to save her life.

Although her mistress, a staff nurse at an undisclosed hospital in Surulere, Mrs Nkese Iroakazi, reportedly denied the allegation at the police station, the ailing girl was said to have managed to state that she allegedly poured kerosene on her before striking a stick of matches to set her on fire.

Omo baba olowo has done it again. According to reports, aside his superb performance on stage at the Boombaataa Festival in Kenya last weekend; Davido also had a great romp with a Kenyan socialite Staciey Brianar aka Pendo.

In a telephone chat with Ghafla.co.ke, Pendo said the Gobe crooner is the best you never had, that he is much better than your average Kenyan.

Pendo: If people had done even a little research, they would know Davido does not even have a Facebook account. I NEVER said I was in touch with him through Facebook. I got in touch with him through a good friend of his and that's where everything started. He did the intro.

Nali: So why did you do this? Do you do this for money?

Pendo: (Laughs) No, I didn't get money from him. I didn't WANT money from him. I did it simply cuz I find him hot and he is pretty legit in the music industry in Africa. Yeah, I am attracted by his talent, his fame, his power, but honestly, who isn't? And people are talking so much because a lot of women wanted to be in my shoes, but were not. I'm not afraid to go after what I want.

And this movie, Unconditional is not all about them, Dakore, Ruth Kadiri and I acted in it. It’s the kind of move that will touch the heart.

If your husband were to be a serial philanderer like Desmond’s character in the movie, Lies Men Tell, what will you do?
I will castrate him, he knows and believes that. To me, there is no excuse to cheat, its either you are with someone or not, and if you are tired of the person, please accord the person decency of respect by saying it’s over. Don’t go making someone look stupid. The problem with me is there is no in- between.

Jay Z and Diddy enjoyed a get together at Sound Nightclub in Hollywood with stars including Kevin Durant, Adrienne Bailon, Nicole Scherzinger and Ne-Yo at the official D'USSE pre-party for Jay Z's 'Legends of the Summer' tour with Justin Timberlake – and Diddy was thrilled to be reunited with his close friend.

Diddy later tweeted: ''Sippin D'USSE, boy this aint your Daddy Yak...last night was mad real I was off that D'USSE!! Me and Jay vibin out #livinglegends (sic).''

Despite having a gig the next day, Jay Z stayed at the club until 3am.

Veteran actress Bukky Ajayi Debunks Death Rumour

Veteran actress and broadcaster, Bukky Ajayi has refuted claims reported in some media that she is dead. The aged actress told PM News on phone this morning that she is hale and hearty.

“My son, i was surprised to hear the rumour as well. About four people have called me concerning this issue, but i didn't take it seriously until my daughter and her husband also called. I'm hale and hearty, and nothing is wrong.

If it was at a point when i was ill, perhaps, i won't be surprised. But I'm very much okay now - that's why i'm wondering where the rumour emanated from,” she said.

Blessing Okagbare breaks African Women’s 100m record

Nigerian sprinter Blessing Okagbare today smashed the African 100m Women’s record.

 She came from the back and stormed through to win in 10.86 seconds, setting a new African record at the London Olympic Anniversary Games.

Okagbare has been in tremendous form lately as she also leapt 7m recently to become only the second Nigerian lady after Chioma Ajunwa to do same.

Expectedly, Okagbare tops the list of 19 athletes to represent Nigeria at next month’s World Athletics Championships in Moscow where Nigeria hopes to end her 13 years of medal drought.

“I just wanted to put up a good race and I’m so excited. For me, I just want to do my best and I’ve been working hard and have tried to stay on top of my recovery. I’m hoping when it comes to Moscow that I’ll be ready,” Blessing said.

Nobody Forced Me To Accept Islam – Pastor’s Daughter, Charity Uzoechina

The conversion to Islam of 25-year-old Charity Uzoechina, daughter of Pastor Raymond Uzoechina of Redeem Christian Church of God, Kwankwashe, Suleja, continues to generate controversy.

Her father accused the Estu Nupe Alhaji Yahaya Abubukar, of hypnotizing his daughter, who has since changed her name to A’isha, to embrace Islam. A’isha, who hails from Asaba, Delta State, came to Abuja at the age of 10 when her father relocated from Lagos. After her secondary school education at Army Day Secondary School Asokoro, Abuja she got admission into Federal Polytechnic, Bida to read Public Administration. She, however, withdrew from the course in her first year. She embraced Islam on February 15, 2013. A’isha said since her family relocated to Suleja, Niger State, she has been in the midst of Muslims, which accorded her the opportunity to have several Muslims friends and learnt a lot about Islam.

Ace Filmmaker Tunde Kelani Reveals Poster for new film ‘Dazzling Mirage’

Veteran Director, Tunde Kelani has released the poster for his forthcoming movie, Dazzling Mirage; the filmmaker also revealed the casts which include Kunle Afolayan and Yomi Fash-Lanso. The new film is an adaptation of a novel with same title written by Olayinka Abimbola Egbokhare, and Kelani has commissioned award-winning London-based Nigerian screenwriter Ade Solanke to adapt the book.

Dazzling Mirage is a love story marked by acts of betrayal and loyalty such as in the life of a typical sickle cell person.

Kelani hinted that the film is presently at the final stage of pre-production while filming will start on August 14, 2013.

Isabelle plays the dual role of Dakore’s daughter and Uche Jombo’s daughter in the movie.

I’ve found another love — Ayo Adesanya

Ayo Adesanya is not a new face in Nollywood. She has acted alongside veterans like Regina Askia, Liz Benzon, Ucharia Anunobi and many others. The University of Ibadan graduate of Communications and Language Arts, like many of her peers, ventured into movie production. She spoke with Ajibade Alabi recently on several issues in the industry.

Why acting and not practicing what you studied in school?
I have always liked acting; it is just inborn. Right from my childhood days, I knew I would end up being an actress.

How did you join the industry?
I went for an interview somewhere, where I met Ifeanyi. It was he who invited me for an auditioning, and in that auditioning I was given a waka pass role. That was my first role, and that was how the journey began.

But I had always wanted to be an actress. I had started right from when I was in nursery school. I acted also when in secondary school. I also acted in church. So, it has been part of me right from the beginning.
