Soulja Boy has a lot in common with Alec
Baldwin -- not that he's as talented, but he's definitely as disrespectful on
American Airlines, because the renegade rapper got booted from an AA plane
after causing a pre-flight scene.
Just like Alec, Soulja was on American
Airlines Friday when the flight attendant took the mic and told everyone to sit
down. Soulja, who was standing and walking the aisles, didn't follow the
command.
Thereafter a flight attendant approached the rapper
and repeated the order and explained the consequences if he didn't obey –– the
rapper blew her off.
And just like Alec, he was
"removed" from the plane.

Nigerian Chasemates Beverly and Melvin will
sail to the Finale alongside Ghana’s Elikem and Zambian Cleo. After HoH Elikem
made his final decision to save himself and swapped South Africa’s Angelo.
Beverly and Melvin are the last pair standing
after all other countries lost one or both of their housemates to evictions
during the course of The Chase.
Beverly is the only Housemate who made it to
the Finale without having to face eviction throughout the Season. Melvin on the
other hand also managed to dodge the dagger until Week 6 when he put himself up
for possible eviction instead of swapping any of his fellow housemates who were
nominated at the time. Luckily for him, Africa had his back and he was back to
continue with The Chase.

never said this before, because there is no way to say it without it being

be a doctor and I was going to live in Kentucky. But I always knew that I was
going to be famous"
The Senior Special Assistant to President
Goodluck Jonathan, Doyin Okupe has assured again that the era of shortage in
power supply in most part of the nation will come to an end before the end of
the year. This is coming on the heels of recent reports that Power Generation has
dropped to 2,628.6 Megawatts.
Addressing a news conference in Abuja, Okupe
explained further that on the issue of achieving uninterrupted power supply in
Nigeria, the president is not resting on his oars to see that it becomes a
reality, but expressed disappointment that the highly transparent and
professional manner in which President Jonathan handled the privatization of
the power sector is lost on the public in spite of the commendations of the
global business community especially international investors.
He said the new owners of the divested assets
of Power Holding Company of Nigeria will utilize the presently installed
capacities more efficiently and add more power to the 5,000 megawatts already
being generated by the country.
No one expects an event called Lingerie
Fashion Week to be mild; but you don't expect to see a bevy of pregnant ladies
in hot pink heels strutting down the catwalk in lingerie.
At the just concluded Lingerie Fashion Week, Designer
Uyo Okebie-Eichelberger of You! Lingerie put together a dozen pregnant ladies
with the height, bodies (all relatively slim and very pregnant) to strut in hot
pink heels for ‘You! Lingerie’
Lingerie Fashion Week held first week of

Call her controversial, that won’t stop the
Director of “I sing of a well” and “Sinking Sands”, Leila Djansi from speaking
her mind whenever she wants to. In her recent post, the 32-year-old American/Ghanaian
filmmaker took a swipe at Nollywood and Ghollywood stars – she described them
as being materialistic, having awkward diction and that they embark on needless
vacation just to cover their insecurity.
Here’s her unedited post:
"Do
quote me anywhere on this. It’s about time someone said this. My fellow film
industry folks in Ghana and Nigeria, especially actors. Enough with the cars,
shoes, bags, clothes and needless vacations. You don’t do these cos you deserve
them but cos of the need to show off and that’s some high level of insecurity
you need checked. You spend money you make from doing some crappy material on
designers who take that money, go on vacations with their fellow men, whom they
have married and have sex with or fellow women… (None of my business tho. Just
sayin’). Instead of sitting
Ghanaian actress and TV presenter, Joselyn
Dumas fell on stage when she wore the very high boots of Denrele during the
shooting and recording of Channel O’s O News Live in Accra, Ghana.
Denrele who had Joselyn as a guest on his
couch threw a ‘truth or dare’ at the actress. Joselyn chose to dare Denrele,
which resulted in Denrele asking her to take off her Christian Louboutin shoes.
Joselyn was then made to wear Denrele’s boots and when she tried to dance in
the boots, she took a mighty tumble.
Here is a slice of the interview Toolz had
with Ebuka on Rubbin Minds.
Ebuka: You mentioned
earlier about people saying you interview someone and they end up saying you
are dating, I want to call a few names
and you are going to answer Yes or No, or explain whatever it is you
want to explain, if you dated them or not – Don Jazzy.
Toolz: Don Jazzy is my
personal person, Don Jazzy is like somebody that, he thought me a lot about the
industry, he’s my personal person.
Ebuka: Never dated?
Toolz: No, people say that
I have a crush on him, but I have to say he has crush on me
The O'odua People’s Congress (OPC) at the
weekend admonished the presidency to keep an eye on Major Hamza Al-Mustapha,
the former Chief Security Officer (CSO) to the late Head of State, General
Sanni Abacha, who was recently discharged and acquitted by the Court of Appeal
in Lagos.
In a statement issued by the Osun State

al-Mustapha was kept under security watch despite being discharged and
acquitted of his alleged offences by the court.
Victor Olaotan plays the lead role as the
character of Fred Ade-Williams in popular television series, Tinsel. He speaks
with Joan Omionawele on his childhood, journey through life and career.
Excerpts
You were a broadcaster for a while before you
moved into acting. Why the u-turn?
Well, I have always been an actor. I had my first breakthrough in acting in
1959. My official professionalism was shown in 1974. It was entitled Candle in
the Wind and it was the first television movie on Nigerian television.
How and why were you chosen for the lead role in Tinsel?
It was just grace. I understand over 500 people auditioned for the role, but I
was chosen. I was surprised because I am an actor that does not jump all over
the place to get my face seen, and I had left the industry for over 20 years
sojourning in the United States. I have been in the industry for a while. A
reporter was talking to me sometime ago and asked ‘Don’t you consider yourself
lucky? You just came into the industry and you are at the top!’ I said, ‘Is
that so?’ It has nothing to do with me being a fantastic actor or being
special.
