5 women die in limousine fire on California Bridge
Kiyo: A limousine
traveling on a major bridge in the San Francisco Bay area burst into flames,
killing five female passengers who were trapped inside and injuring four others
who escaped, authorities said Sunday.
The
limo was carrying nine female passengers and a male driver when it caught fire
late Saturday on the San Mateo–Hayward Bridge, California Highway Patrol
Officer Art Montiel told The Associated Press.
Five
occupants became trapped while four others suffered injuries but managed to get
out after the vehicle came to a stop on the bridge, the patrol said. The driver
escaped uninjured.
Officer
Montiel said that the victims were all in their 30s. Authorities said the names
of the dead would be released once families have been notified.
The
blaze occurred around 10 p.m. on westbound lanes of the bridge, which connects
San Mateo and Alameda counties, about 20 miles southeast of San Francisco.
The
patrol said that smoke started coming out of the rear of the limo, and the
driver pulled over as the vehicle quickly became engulfed in flames. Officers
were trying to determine the cause of the blaze, which wasn’t the result of an
accident.
“We
have no idea right now where they were going or where they were coming from,”
CHP Officer Amelia Jack told KGO-TV.

Kiyo: NATIONAL President of
the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, for the
first time, publicly dismissed criticisms that continued to trail his
acquisition of a private jet with some critics claiming that the gift may have
come from the Presidency.
“Word
of Life members miss me, my family misses me greatly and appreciating the trauma
of connecting flights across the globe; they decided to constitute a committee
to raise funds for the purchase of the jet. They reached out to some of my
children in and out of the country who generously donated to the course,” he
explained.
He
maintained that over 90 per cent of the funds came from members of the church
while the rest was donated by his spiritual children across the globe.

Kiyo: Alfredo Di Stefano says
he wants to wed his 36-year-old secretary, Gina Gonzalez, and will ask Real
Madrid president Florentino Perez to be his best man.
Di
Stefano, whose wife Sara Freites died in 2005, admitted his six children might
not be happy at hearing the news.
But
he told Spanish newspaper 'El Mundo': "I've been a widower for eight
years. I'm in love. I'm 86 years old but I've got a young heart."
Di
Stefano met Costa Rican brunette Gina when he was preparing his biography. She
now works as his secretary, manager and representative.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. Defeats Robert Guerrero in Unanimous Decision In Welterweight Title Fight
Kiyo: Mayweather fought as
if he had never left the ring, coming back from a year's absence Saturday night
to win a unanimous 12-round decision over Robert Guerrero in their welterweight
title fight.
The
game plan was defence, and Mayweather followed it perfectly. With his father directing
from the corner after a 13-year absence, he dominated Guerrero in a performance
not totally expected at the age of 36.
"I
needed my father tonight," Mayweather said. "My defence was on point
and he told me to stick with my defence and that the less you get hit the
longer you last."
All
three judges scored the bout 117-111. The Associated Press had it 119-109.
"We
did it again," Mayweather said after earning at least $32 million for his
night's work. "I take my hat off to Robert Guerrero. He's a true
warrior."

Emmett Till to rough sex.
Weezy
came under fire back in February over a verse he dropped on the song
"Karate Chop" ... in which he said, "Pop a lot of pain pills,
'bout to put rims on my skateboard wheels ... beat that p***y up like Emmett
Till."
Wayne
had sent a letter to Till's family -- saying he's sorry their feelings were
hurt by the song ... but the family REJECTED the letter, saying the statement
"falls short of an apology."
Emmett
Louis Till was an African-American boy who was beaten beyond recognition, shot
and dumped in a river at the age of 14 after reportedly flirting with a white woman
in Mississippi.

Smith said Friday that he will probably shoot a comedy with his son Jaden when
they team up for the third time in film-making.
Smith,
who arrived in Taiwan on Thursday on a promotional tour, said it was
"fantastic" to work with the 15-year-old in their second movie
together, the sci-fi flick "After Earth", set to hit cinemas in June.
"Entertainment
is our family business, so I am sure that if something comes up we'll do it
again," Smith said at a red carpet fan meeting near the landmark Taipei
101 building, which was lit up with the movie's name.
"He
(Jaden) is looking forward to a comedy, he's been having to do lots of drama
for his career. Drama has kind of been his signature and he's been asking to
find a comedy," Smith said.

RISQUE VIDEO LED TO SUSPENSION OF 33 STUDENTS
Kiyo: A group of San Diego
high school students has been suspended for making a risqué video on campus of
teens involved in “twerking.”
The
students at Scripps Ranch High School were suspended after school officials
noticed the video on the Internet. In it, fully clothed students are seen
moving their hips and buttocks in a suggestive fashion.
NIGERIAN TOP DIPLOMAT IN SHOOTOUT WITH ROBBERS IN SOUTH AFRICA
Kiyo: Cases of attempted
murder and attempted robbery was opened on Wednesday following a shooting
incident involving Nigeria’s deputy ambassador to South Africa and his wife
outside a private residence in Monument Park.
Between
6am and 7am on Wednesday, the deputy ambassador, his wife and their driver
arrived at the residence in Orient Street.
As
the vehicle entered the property, another vehicle stopped behind the deputy
ambassador’s car.
An
attacker got out of the other vehicle and opened fire on the deputy
ambassador’s vehicle.
“The
deputy ambassador’s driver returned fire and was shot in the hand during the
shoot-out.
“The
deputy ambassador and his wife were not injured,” said Brigadier Phuti Setati,
acting national head of corporate communications for the SAPS.

linked to an article that mentioned a snarky remark Mariah had made during
Wednesday's "Idol" broadcast (when Mariah had pointed out "not
everybody has" a number-one record, presumably comparing her Billboard
chart track record to Nicki's).
And Nicki
fell for the bait – she fired back at Perez, tweeting him: "What u SHOULD
be doing (with your messy a**) is asking why a woman SO successful at her age,
is still so INSECURE, and bitter."
Kiyo: It seems there is no
end to this feud.
