Cops
say 48-year-old Karen Elaine Harrelson and 57-year-old Gregory Stambaugh were
watching the singing competition show last week at Stambaugh's York home when
suddenly an argument erupted between the pair as to which contestant should win
the title — fight over Candice Glover and Kree Harrison (the two finalists).
The
argument reportedly escalated when Harrelson took a knife out and stabbed her
boyfriend. Stambaugh stabbed the woman in response to the attack.
According
to York Police, the dispute between the couple was over "American
Idol" finalists Candice Glover and Kree Harrison.
After
the knife fight came to an end, both boyfriend and girlfriend were arrested and
charged with aggravated assault.
