Nigeria's First Lady May Die; I do not see Nigeria at semi-final of 2014 W/Cup – Primate Ayodele

Nigeria's First Lady May Die; I do not see Nigeria at semi-final of 2014 W/Cup – Primate Ayodele

Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church has joined Nigerian Ministers to prophecy for 2014. The Primate is known to have predicted the Sosoliso and Bellview Airline crashes few years ago.

Hear him,
Concerning the year 2014, I will advise every Nigerian to take time and be prayerful for the country and for themselves from the 1st to 3rd of January, 2014. This is for God to prevent imminent dangers ahead of the nation and the economy. Let us take it from here. I don’t see anything happening in the Nigerian economy. I see debts everywhere- our crude oil, foreign reserve, and all.
States will be in debt, the Federal Government will be in debt and Nigeria will be planning to go borrow money. So, the government has to be very careful not to be affected by these debts. Prices of food will increase drastically and flour will be scarce and become very expensive. Corruption too will be more prevalent because this government lacks the power to fight it. Fighting oil theft will also pose a major challenge and Nigeria will beg America to support her in the fight. The price of petroleum will increase as well.

Mary Mary's Erica Campbell Slammed Over “Sexy Dress”

When Erica Campbell of the ‘Mary Mary’ gospel music group posted a new photo of herself on her Instagram page to announce her recent Grammy nomination for "A Little More Jesus," few could have predicted the firestorm it would spark in the Christian community. In the now infamous photo, Campbell is wearing a figure-hugging white dress that shows off her curves.
More than a week later, the Gospel singer’s photo is still a trending topic, with many saying the dress is not fit for a Gospel artist.
I'm taking it in stride and I'm keeping it moving,” Campbell tells Essence.com. “When we took the picture I felt beautiful, I felt confident, I felt sexy and I felt strong.”
I thought I looked cute,” she says jokingly, “but it obviously offended some people, which was never my intention.”

Catholics, CAN blast Kumuyi for calling Christmas celebration idolatory

Founder of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor WF Kumuyi is currently at the receiving end of harsh criticisms by angry Nigerians for calling Christmas celebration idolatory.
The ‘holiness’ preacher in his sermon on Saturday at the just concluded 2013 National December Retreat of the church said, “We are only gathering together because it is the holiday period and love the lord more, and rededicate ourselves more.
“When you find anybody coming in, or any leader, trying to introduce the idolatry of mystery Babylon, that they call Christmas and you want to bring all the Christmas carol saying that is the day that Jesus was born, and you don’t find that in the Acts of the Apostles or in the early church, then you don’t find that in the church either. If you don’t know that before, now you know”, he stated.

“All Catholics Will Go to Hell, Pope Francis is an Anti-Christ” – Rev Chris Okotie

“All Catholics Will Go to Hell, Pope Francis is an Anti-Christ” – Rev Chris Okotie

All Catholics in the world will go to hell because they worship Satan and are led by an Anti-Christ Pope who is a friend to the devil, Nigeria’s controversial preacher and former presidential candidate, Chris Okotie, told his congregation on Sunday, leaving members bewildered.
Fifty-five year old Okotie, while preaching in his Household of God Church in Ikeja area of Lagos, western Nigeria, said the Catholic Church is “a counterfeit church set up by Satan” and that Catholics “bow to idols and crucify Jesus every Sunday when they eat bread claiming they are eating Jesus’ body.”
“They are not Christians and have never been,” Okotie told a stunned congregation.
“They don’t know Jesus. They believe that when they eat bread on Sundays, they are eating the body of Jesus. It’s ritual,” Okotie said.

“God told me to be an advocate for the rights of gays” – Methodist Pastor

A United Methodist minister convicted of breaking church law by officiating at the same-sex wedding of his son in the US said on Tuesday he is unrepentant, declaring he has been called by God to be an advocate for the rights of gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people.
The Reverend Frank Schaefer, testifying at the penalty phase of his church trial, again refused to promise he wouldn't perform another same-sex union. Three of his four children are gay.
The church “needs to stop judging people based on their sexual orientation”, he said.
We have to stop the hate speech. We have to stop treating them as second-class Christians,” he told a jury of fellow United Methodist pastors.

A Nigerian priest serving as chaplain at Avera St. Luke Hospital and Avera Mother Joseph Manor in Aberdeen for more than 18 years has been fired by the Avera administration.
The Catholic Diocese of Sioux Falls says recent allegations of sexual harassment by Reverend Charles Emezie against adult female staff members have been found credible.  These allegations are also violations of the diocesan Sexual Misconduct policy.  Father Emezie’s faculties to minister as a priest in the Diocese of Sioux Falls have been revoked and his bishop in Nigeria has been notified that he may no longer practice ministry in the diocese.

The Diocese of Sioux Falls encourages those who have been victims of sexual abuse or misconduct to contact its Victims Assistance Coordinator so that the Church might offer whatever assistance is appropriate.

Controversial Video: Pastor Kumuyi Disowns ‘Prophetess’ [VIDEO]

Pastor William Kumuyi, General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry has disowned the controversial videos of a ‘prophetess’ and others who claimed to have died, gone to heaven and came back to narrate their extra-terrestrial experience.
In the controversial videos being sold all over Nigeria, two women and a boy claimed they died, went to heaven and came back to narrate what they said God showed them.
One of such CDs is that of a Sierra Leonean woman, simply called Sister Linda Ngaujah. Linda said she died and was shown happenings in heaven and hell and that many of the members of a large church on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway are on their way to hell and that the founder of a leading church in Lagos should repent as he allegedly acquired his

‘Coza’s Pastor is An Adulterer’ –– Pastor J of God’s House, Abuja Affirms

‘Coza’s Pastor is An Adulterer’ –– Pastor J of God’s House, Abuja Affirms

For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.”
Isaiah 9:16 . Let them alone: they be leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. Matt 15:14

I was going to be silent on this sad, pathetic but true (in many shades) allegation against Pastor B and his popular and
trendy ministry. My silence was borne out of respect for the kingdom of God and things that pertain to God. But all this changed when I heard the horrific tales of people who had been through the mess of this blind man, and the fact that he had no moral motivation to deny or accept the allegation; all he showed on Sunday was a demented swagger and perverse talk.

Nigeria is not cursed – CAN replies Obasanjo

Nigeria is not cursed – CAN replies Obasanjo

The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has faulted a recent statement attributed to former president, Olusegun Obasanjo who said that Nigeria is jinxed and cursed.
General Secretary of the association, Rev. Musa Asake, while reacting to Obasanjo’s statement noted that despite the fact that Nigeria is going through some challenges, it does not mean that the country is cursed or jinxed.
He maintained that the current state of things would soon be over “as there is always a trying time for every nation”.

“We have not been privileged to get the full information on the statement credited to the former president, but whatever he said may be the way he was seeing things; CAN would not want to speak more about the statement, because we do not know why he made such a statement,” he said.

Emulate James Ibori – Pastor Tells Nigerians

Even in former Governor James Onanefe Ibori’s absence, his home town, Oghara, Delta state, was agog all through Sunday as his admirers, political followers and associates gathered to mark his 55th birthday in grand style. The celebration began with a Thanksgiving Church service at the Baptist Church,
Oghara, where the Pastor, Rev Iweh Godspower, challenged the congregation, to emulate Ibori, who though was not in the church, had attracted the large crowd to both the church and the Oghara town to celebrate his birthday in his absence because of the sheer force of his personality.

What is that aspect of Ibori’s personality that could attract such a mammoth crowed which filled the church and overflowed outside, he asked. He answered his own question: “It is a given that
