Kiyo: DELTA State Governor,
Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, Wednesday, ordered a consultant Orthopedic surgeon with
the state Central Hospital, Warri, Dr. Edafe Adike, alleged to have abandoned
his duty post for his private clinic in Warri, to report to the Health Commissioner
for appropriate sanction.
Dr.
Adike told the visiting governor and his team that he came to his private
clinic only 30-minutes ago with his official car.
But
the governor, pointed out to him that there were no car tyre prints on the
ground to support his claim, showing that the car had been parked for quite
some time, saying, “so, you abandoned your patients at the government hospital
to suffer while you are here working in your clinic.”
@filo Dr Adike is a hard-working man. The only orthopaedic surgeon in warri central hospital. It just unfortunate that he was involved. He is not a liar.
