The South African born actor Troye Sivan, who
is best known for playing the title role in the film adaptation of the comedic
novel Spud, has revealed that he is gay.
The 18-year-old actor, who also played the
role of Young James Howlett in the “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” is currently
living with his parents in Perth Australia.
Sivan, who has almost half a million
subscribers on his YouTube channel, decided to announce the news to his fans
and followers on the social media video site after he shared the news with his
family and friends.
"It feels kind of weird to have to
announce something like this on the Internet, but I feel like a lot of you guys
are real, genuine friends of mine...but this is not something that I’m
ashamed of. It’s not something that anyone should be ashamed of," Troye
explained.
