Paris Saint-Germain striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has warned Vincent Enyeama to be prepared to face the force of his attacking partnership with Edinson cavani, when PSG plays Lille on Sunday.
The
Parisians are currently top of Ligue 1 and will play Lille, who are in third
position this weekend. The Swede admitted that he has been impressed with the
form of the Nigerian goalkeeper, who went 11 consecutive top-flight games
without letting in a goal.
Lille
has also conceded six goals in 18 minutes, but Ibrahimovic was in bullish move
ahead of the crunch tie at Parc de Princes.
“I
think it is a very important game,” the 32-year-old told reporters.
“Lille
have been very good so far. Their goalkeeper Enyeama has produced some amazing
games so far as well, but at the same time I have to say he has not played
against Zlatan and Cavani.
“It
will be a big test for him and we will see what happens. Cavani and me have
scored a lot of goals so far and I am pretty sure we will still score goals.
“We
are playing at home but we know Lille have done a fantastic job and that the
goalkeeper kept a clean sheet for 10 or 11 games in a row. A statistic like
that just makes it more exciting to play against Lille. It will be a good game
for the supporters.
“We
have had a good season so far – in the league we have only lost the one game
against Evian. Hopefully we will keep our focus and continue the strong
results.”
