In
a show of humility and African tradition, Malawian President, Joyce Banda who
was named by Forbes as the 71st most powerful woman in the world in 2012 and
named the 47th in 2013 knelt down to greet Tanzanian President Jakaya Kikwete
at a recent official function.
People
who attended the function including the Tanzanian president himself were left
bemused by the gesture.
