College Students in Akure Protest Rape of Female Colleagues

Human and vehicular movements were temporarily disrupted in parts of Akure, Ondo State capital, on Tuesday, as students of the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure, took to the street to protest the alleged rape of three female students of the school.
They alleged that some hoodlums had on Monday night invaded the campus and raped the students who were preparing for their examination.
Efforts by men of the state police command, who were on ground to curtail the situation, were rebuffed by the students, who called for the removal of the CSO.
