Hawkers, Beggars Banned From Checkpoints By Yobe JTF

The Military Joint Task Force (JTF) in Yobe State has banned hawking and begging around security check points across the state.
The JTF spokesman in the state, Lieutenant Eli Lazarus, in statement advised hawkers and beggars to use approved places for their various activities as violators would be prosecuted.
“Hawkers are advised to use designated markets and other approved places for trading activities. Henceforth any body found hawking around security check points will be arrested and prosecuted. Beggars are equally advised to stay away from the checkpoints,” the statement adds.
Before now, both beggars and hawkers had been using various checkpoints in the state as places of brisk business.
