Kimura celebrated his 116th birthday on April 19 with two visits, one from his
city's mayor and one from Guinness World Records.
The
Guinness World Records official who came to the Kimura home presented him with
a certificate recognizing him as the world's oldest man, a record he broke last
Dec. 28.
