Sound Sultan Taking A Break From Music
After his sixth studio album, Olanrewaju
Fasasi, whose stage name is Sound Sultan has disclosed his intention to take a
break from music any moment from now.
This, he explained, is to enable him direct
efforts towards building his Naija Ninja brand.
“I have
not done ten percent of what I am supposed to do and currently, I have three
artistes on my label. Until three of them drop their albums, I want to actually
take a break and allow these talented guys to make their marks,” he’s
reported as saying.
The award winning music activist also hinted
that he is releasing the video to his hit single ‘Kokose’ featuring Wizkid
soon.

P.Diddy Donates $250k as Nigerian Student Emerge Winner of Entrepreneurship Challenge {PHOTOS}
In an entrepreneurship competiton held at The
Times Center in New York City recently, rapper and business mogul, Sean Combs, aka
P.Diddy was on ground to speak with the participants on how to run their own
businesses and being self-made bosses.
At the event, which was created by The
Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) – an organization that empowers
teens through entrepreneurship education, four finalists emerged. The finalists
are, Juny Nguyen, Jesus Fernandez, Dagim Girma and Toheeb Okenla.
At the end, Toheeb Okenla and Jesus Fernandez,
from South Holland, Illinois, beat out 38 teen competitors with their business
plan for T&J Soccer. T&J Soccer is a manufacturing and
retail business that sells soccer socks with pockets sewn into them for inserts
that protect players' shins during soccer games.
Prayer saves Agagu’s family from extinction – Bishop Ogunele
The three days fasting and prayer preceding
yesterday’s burial of former governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Agagu was
what prevented the Agagu’s family from being completely wiped out in Thursday’s
plane crash.Bishop of the coast, Anglican Communion, Ebun Oluwa Ogunele made
this disclosure while delivering sermon at the ex-governor’s burial ceremony.
The corpse, which laid in a gold casket with
the designer’s label of ‘Bell’ as against the one by ‘MIC’ which was involved
in Thursday’s plane crash but remained intact, was brought by another
undertaker, BELL Casket at about 1.30 pm and lowered into the grave at about
3.45pm amid crying and wailing by family members, relations, friends and
followers. His corpse was buried at the church cemetery.

Former Rivers Assembly Speaker, Tonye Harry, Slumps, Dies
Former Speaker of the Rivers State House of
Assembly, Hon. Tonye Harry, has been reported dead.
Harry was said to have died on Thursday while
being flown overseas for treatment after collapsing on Monday at the Port
Harcourt Club after a game of tennis.
Although the family was yet to issue a
statement as at yesterday, the State Government and leadership of the assembly
have issued condolence messages on the death of the former speaker and serving
member representing Degema State constituency in the assembly.
A source, that would not want to be named,
volunteered that Harry slumped at the Port Harcourt Club on Monday shortly
after a game of tennis and was immediately rushed to a private clinic in Port
Harcourt, where he was said to have been stabilised.

Tyra Banks sues wig companies for $10 million
Tyra Banks has filed a $10 million lawsuit
against 10 wig companies.
The 38-year-old star who has had a number of
slick hairstyles throughout the years is reportedly suing the companies for
using her ''name, photograph, image, and identity'' without permission while
promoting their products.
Gossip website TMZ reports that the products
in question include a Yaki straight hair wig, a Tyra Banks-inspired human hair
wig, which costs $300, and a Tyra Banks lace wig.
She wants to stop them from selling the hair
pieces in addition to charging them for damages.
