FBI declares Nigerian Wanted over $770,000 Internet Love Scam

Olaniyi Victor Makinde, a 26 year old serial internet fraudster is top on the wanted list of the United States of America’s Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI. Makinde has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Trouble started for Makinde when investigations revealed that he had been defrauding several foreigners, especially Americans in marriage scam and related offences, through the internet. He was also accused of masterminding serious hacking practices against an American online pay roll services company, Intuit, in California.

Don’t blame Jonathan, Boko Haram started before him – Tanko Yakasai

Frontline northern politician and elder statesman, Alhaji Tanko Yakasai has stated that President Goodluck Jonathan should not be blamed for the growing activities of the Boko Haram sect in the country. He also buttressed that the emergence of Boko Haram could only be traced to former President, Late Yar’ Adua’s regime.

In further defence of Jonathan, he said the extremists had started terrorizing the country before Jonathan was elected president.

He dismissed the claims that the violent group would ceasefire if President Jonathan declares his intention not to run in 2015.

“Boko Haram started before Jonathan. Their leader was killed during the reign of Late Umaru Yar’adua. So, how can people attribute that situation to what is happening today,” he questioned.

12-year-old boy, 2 Pastors and others arrested for pipeline vandalism

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) have arrested 30 people for alleged pipeline vandalism in Isheri Olofin area of Ogun State.

The suspects were arrested on Saturday morning after a combined team of NSCDC officials from the Lagos and Ogun state commands engaged in a gun duel with some pipeline vandals.

Among those arrested are a 12-year-old boy, Azeez Ajani; a 13-year-old boy, Michael Oyedotun, two pastors, six women and 20 others.

The Commandant, Ogun State Command, Mr. Akinwande Aboluwoye, said over 20,000 litres of stolen fuel were recovered from the vandals.

Nigerian Born NFL Star Oladele Ayanbadejo poses 'nude' for NOH8 campaign

Nigerian born NFL star and former Superbowl champion, Oladele Brendon Ayanbadejo has added his voice to a compilation of high-profile celebrities that advocate for marriage equality.

Ayanbadejo, who has long been a straight ally for the LGBT movement posed nude for NOH8 campaign.

The "NOH8" campaign posted the photo yesterday with the caption: "A real man supports equality."

NOH8 Campaign (pronounced "no hate campaign") is an organization in the US whose mission is to promote marriage, gender and human equality.

Clint Eastwood and wife, Dina split after 17 years of marriage

Some things are not just meant to be. Clint Eastwood, 83, has separated from second wife Dina Eastwood (nee Ruiz) after 17 years of marriage, Dina confirms exclusively to US Weekly.

The former TV news reporter, 48, says that she and Eastwood remain close but have been living separately for some time. In fact, a source stated that the two actually split more than a year ago, in June 2012.

"Clint fell out of love with Dina a long time ago," the insider says, noting that the separation was "amicable."

Married since March 31, 1996, Dina and the Million Dollar Baby director have one daughter together, 16-year-old Morgan. Eastwood is also dad to seven other kids, though he has only been married once before. I was going to be silent on this sad, pathetic but true (in many shades) allegation against Pastor B and his popular and

UNILAG Big Girl Kidnapped, Raped By 3 Friends

Miss Tolulope Titiloye, a 22-year-old female student of the University of Lagos, who was kidnapped and raped by three friends, who later posted her nude photos on the social media, is now in court to get justice.

Three friends – Bashorun Babajide, Aje Olumayowa, and Babajide Ajayi – had molested her, took photos of her without clothes and threatened to share the photos if she exposed them. Tolulope had kept quiet about the sad incident but trouble started when her family members saw her nude photos on the internet.

Within few days of the upload, the nude photographs went viral on social media, exposing Tolulope to ridicule and shame.

SHOCKING! Severed Human head, hands sent to Police Commissioner

A severed human head has been sent to the boss of Kenya's police commission, Johnston Kavuludi, who has been trying to reform the police service. Mr Kavuludi was appointed last year to lead efforts to reform the police force.

According to the Daily Nation newspaper, a box containing the head and two human hands covered in blood also had the message: "Kavuludi, you are next".

The box was covered in yellow polythene and was deposited in a flower bed outside the National Police Service Commission offices in central Nairobi.

The police were alerted about two hours after the box was left on Thursday afternoon.

Nairobi police chief Benson Kibui linked the head to the previous discovery of a torso on a farm outside the city, and the police say they are interpreting it as a death threat.

When the name 'Ruggedman' is mentioned the picture that comes to mind is that of a hard-faced, tough-talking and mean gangster rap star, but the Ohafia, Abia State-born rapper is anything but that as he reveals in this telling chat with Weekend Groove. Excerpts:

What have you been up to lately?

I have been working on the singing sensation I just signed to my label, Rugged Records label. His name is Mbryo. I believe he's the next act to blow from Nigeria. And we have been recording tracks for his album. I've also been on a promotion/introduction tour around Nigeria to introduce him to the industry and my fans.

Mbryo is multi-talented. He writes, sings, plays guitar, drums and piano. So in order to introduce him into the industry, I released a joint album in December 2012 with him titled 'Money Making Music' which has songs like 'Push' featuring Terry G, Mbryo's 'Remote' and lots more. He's already getting heavy rotation. He has recorded songs with Olamide and Waje.

Bianca Ojukwu Denies Dating Fani-Kayode, Threatens to Sue for Libel

Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu’s widow and Nigeria’s ambassador to Spain, Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu, has described as false the claim by former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, that she was his girlfriend when she was a spinster. Fani-Kayode had in his article, entitled: “Neither a tribalist nor a hater,” published in the social media and some segments of the national dailies claimed to have met with Bianca when she was Miss Bianca Onoh at the Cambridge College and had “intimate” relationship with her together with two other Igbo ladies. Reacting to this, Bianca said she had never met Fani-Kayode before, either at official or private level, not to talk of having an “intimate” relationship with him. The ambassador, who spoke through her lawyers, Wall Street Attorneys, has, therefore, threatened to drag the former aide to ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo to court if, in the next seven days, he fails to retract his libelous publication against her.
