In celebration of his birthday today, Kukere
crooner, Iyanya visited the Ikoyi prison to give hope to the prisoners!! While there,
he performed with some ‘talented’ inmates; he also donated some items and promised
to build a recording studio in the correctional facility.
Later in the day, he received a cake that was
designed with a semblance of him and Yvonne lying nude on the bed with the
inscription “all I want is your waist”
Based on recent development, Yvonne has moved

Hollywood
power couple Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett Smith are reportedly undergoing a
trial separation from their marriage of 15 years.
The couple – who have children Jaden, 15, and
Willow, 12, together – have not been seen together since August and insiders
claim their 15-year marriage is in trouble, so they are currently living apart
in a bid to ease the tension between them.
The 45-year-old actor – who also has son
Trey, 19, with first wife Sheree Zampino - has been staying in New Orleans

Nigerians and other African nationals
numbering about 200 blocked the National Highway 17 on the outskirts of Goa
capital in India today in protest of the death of a yet-to-be identified
Nigerian.
According to reports, the incident happened
when a gang descended at Parra where many Nigerians stay - in four and two
wheeler vehicles and attacked a group of Nigerians with weapons. Some of the
Nigerians were on bikes when they were attacked. One was hit with a dagger severally
that he breathed his last, while five others were injured in the attack before
the assailants fled from the scene.

Senate threatens to stop SURE-P allocation
The Senate, on Wednesday, threatened to
henceforth stop appropriating fund to the Subsidy Reinvestment Empowerment
Programme (SURE-P).
Senate Ad hoc Committee on SURE-P issued the
threat, saying some ministers have persistently refused to honour invitations
to them to render accounts of their stewardship in their various ministries.
Addressing newsmen, chairman of the committee,
Senate Leader Abdul Ningi, particularly took exception to the failure of the
Minister of Works, Mr Mike Onolememen, to appear before the committee on
Wednesday.
He said what the minister and his team did amount
to crass lawlessness, adding that President Goodluck Jonathan had appointed
wrong people into public offices.

Scandal star Kerry Washington is reportedly
expecting her first child with NFL player husband Nnamdi Asomugha, according to
Us Weekly.
"She's about four months along," a
friend of the 36-year-old actress told the mag.
Besides, Kerry was spotted Tuesday covering
up her belly while hiding from photographers in New York City.
The surprising pregnancy report follows
Washington's surprise wedding to the San Francisco 49ers cornerback this past
summer.
The duo, who allegedly started dating in
2012, said "I do" in a small covert ceremony in Hailey, Idaho, on

DJ Magnus Arrested with 52 wraps of Cocaine at Lagos Airport
A 36 year old Disc Jockey, Iwunze Magnus, has
been arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport with 52 pellets of
cocaine weighing 855 grammes.
The drug mule was apprehended after excreting
3 of the pellets onboard the plane and stuffing same inside his pocket.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency
(NDLEA) arrested Magnus, who was carrying a South African passport as he made
attempt to board an Iberia flight from Costa Rica enroute Madrid.
Confirming the arrest, NDLEA Airport Commander,
Mr. Hamza Umar, said "Three wraps of substances weighing 190 grammes that
tested positive for cocaine, were, during a routine search, found in Magnus's
pockets. He had excreted them during the flight from Costa Rica.
Girl Digs Self Out After Being Raped And Buried Alive
A 13-year-old girl has dug herself out of a
muddy grave after being raped by two men who then buried her alive in Pakistan.
The teen was abducted from her local village
in the Punjab province while she was walking to Koran lessons.
Her father Siddique Mughal told police his
daughter had been taken, but they refused to co-operate, Outlook India
reported.
The men took the young girl to an isolated
place and raped her and then buried her alive as they believed she died during
the brutal attack.
‘I don’t charge for features’, says Davido
Responding to a fan who gave the impression that Davido’s charges for a music feature are overboard, the skelewu singer says he does his features en gratis.
The fan, who goes by the name KingWalter said
“To have @iam_Davido take a verse on your

Lady Gaga kept it simple in a gold Gucci
wrap-dress on the cover of Glamour's "Women of the Year" issue. In other
shots, the pop star wears two "head sculptures" by Bob Recine: one
consists of a Mohawk made from Ed Hardy energy drink cans, the other is a mask
made from matches.
In the interview, Gaga talks about her music,
her ambition, and how she became somebody else for a reason, "My ambition was never to rule the world. It
was always to change the world," she said.

World’s tallest man, Sultan Kosen from Turkey
has married a Syrian woman, Merve Dibo whom he described as the “love of my
life”.
Kosen, 30, who stands at a massive 8-foot-3,
got married to Dibo, 20, on Saturday in his native Turkey – the bride is about
5-foot-6 tall.
“I am the happiest man in the world,” he was
quoted as saying on the website of the state-run Anatolia news agency.
His 20-year-old bride Mervi Dibo, who hails
from the Syrian town of Hasaka, added: “I hope this happiness will be
long-lasting.”
The groom’s black suit was custom made,
requiring six meters of fabric, Anatolia reported.

has cried out to human rights bodies to save her from the brutal hands of
Governor Sullivan Chime, whom she has accused of treating her like a slave.
The First Lady in an emotion-laden letter
obtained by SaharaReporters disclosed that since she got married to the
governor, sometime in October 2008, she had never enjoyed her marriage and has
been denied of her matrimonial rights.
She claimed that since she moved into Chime’s
house, they have never slept on the same bed.
Clara in the letter also alleged that she has
been introduced to two psychiatrists whom she identified as Dr. Onwukwe and Dr.
Agumo, and they prescribed “all kinds of drugs that end up keeping me acute

made only more reckless by parents trying to keep them apart.
Dayo Okeniyi stars as best friend to
Pettyfer's character.

UPDATE: Admiral Akhigbe, not dead, says brother
The family of the former Chief of General
Staff, Admiral Mike Akhigbe, Monday, described as untrue, online reports that
the former number two man died in a London hospital.
Contrary to the reports of his alleged death,
elder brother of the Admiral, Chief Joseph Alemon Akhigbe, said the news about
his death was shocking to the family because “it is not true and it is really
embarrassing to us’’.
According to him, “My brother is stabilizing
in an American hospital and not even London as erroneously reported. As I speak
to you now, the report in my opinion is pure speculation, the paper said he
died in a London hospital but my brother is in an American hospital
stabilizing. The wife, son-in-law and his daughter are with him. My immediate younger
brother in Abuja who spoke to the wife in America confirmed to family members
that the Admiral is stabilizing; the news of his death is totally untrue.

Singer Chris Brown was arrested early Sunday
morning after allegedly attacking a man outside the W Hotel in Washington, D.C.
According to TMZ, Brown got into an argument
with a man outside the W Hotel after leaving a party he was hosting at the
nearby Park and 14th nightclub. Sources say Chris punched the alleged victim in
the face after hurling a gay slur.
According to the report, a woman approached
Brown in front of the hotel around 4:30 a.m. and asked to take a picture with
him. As the pic was about to be taken, two men rushed over to get in the shot.
At that point, Brown allegedly said, "I'm not into this gay s**t, I'm into
boxing," and threw a punch at the victim in question. Brown's bodyguard became
involved in the fight and was also arrested.

‘I will celebrate if you leave PDP’ – Wike dares Amaechi, Amaechi Hits Back
The Supervising Minister of Education, Nyesom
Wike, on Sunday dared the Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, and his supporters
to leave the Peoples Democratic Party for another political party.
But Governor Amaechi said Wike should be more
interested in how to get students back to the school instead of leaving Abuja
every week to play dirty politics in Rivers State.
"As
supervising minister for education, it should have been reasonable for Wike to
bother about the fact that students roam the streets and take to heinous crimes
because of a protracted strike by lecturers."
Wike said Amaechi and his supporters should
join another party if they believed they are popular, promising that he (Wike)
and his followers would celebrate the exit of the governor from the PDP.
